Sanitary measures exist to restart
the event sector.
Why won't the government follow them?
For several months now, experts from the B2B event sector (MICE : Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Events) have been working on new measures and innovative solutions that could allow the resumption of activities in many sectors in complete safety. Despite the release of a 140-page study, the government still does not want to take their opinions and recommendations into account
During of a press conference to be held:
Thursday 1 April from 10:30 to 11:15
at the Press Club Brussels Europe
Rue Froissart 95, 1040 Brussels
the group of experts #restartMICE (www.restartmice.be) and FEBELUX (www.febelux.com) will point out the initiatives of their sector over the last 10 months to prepare the restart in the event industry and will present different solutions (CO² detectors, management of ambient air, staff management, precise and concrete risk analysis ...) to ensure compliance with health measures. So many solutions that are not considered!
At the end of the press conference at 11.30 a.m. sharp, the representatives of the events sector-MICE will hand over the report of the study (in three languages) to Prime Minister Alexander De Croo at 16 rue de la Loi.
A strict sanitary protocol will be set up at the Press Club Brussels Europe to allow the press conference to take place while respecting social distancing.
The conference can also be viewed via live streaming in 4 languages (FR-NL-EN-DE).
